Markent Personnel, Inc. was founded in 1979 by Tom Udulutch, who named the firm after his two sons, Mark and Kent. Since 2018, Mark has taken the helm as President and Owner, continuing a legacy of dedicated recruitment.  Markent’s focus is to serve Wisconsin and Upper Midwest Manufacturers with finding the best manufacturing management and engineering professionals to join their teams.  Markent recruits in several different technical disciplines including engineering, purchasing, accounting, quality, safety and management and executive roles.  Our candidates are not looking for jobs but fulfilling careers!

 

As we move into 2024, we are excited to announce that Markent is relocating from Portage, WI, to the Madison, WI area. Our Six Step Placement Process

  1. In-Depth Position Profiling: We begin by analyzing the written job description and engaging in discussions with both HR and the Hiring Manager. Through live role-plays, we ensure that every job opportunity is presented accurately, clarifying the essential qualifications needed for the ideal candidate.
  2. Research, Referral, and Sourcing: With access to a database of over 25,000 candidates, we leverage online tools and seek referrals from similar candidates to identify the best talent.
  3. Distributed Networking: As proud members of the Sanford Rose Associates Network (the 9th largest US Search firm) and the Top Echelon Network (the largest network of independent recruiters), we tap into a vast network of agencies, enhancing our ability to find the right candidates.
  4. Detailed Qualifying: We employ a unique Candidate Questionnaire Form (CIF) along with thorough interviews to qualify candidates effectively before presenting them to clients.  We then assist in setting up initial phone interviews, face to face interviews and answering any final questions.
  5. Full Candidate and Client Debrief: After researching, interviewing, and presenting candidates, we provide a comprehensive debrief of our findings. This feedback helps refine the search process and align expectations for both candidates and clients.
  6. Offer & Acceptance: The final step may seem straightforward, but it can be complex for both candidates and clients. With our extensive experience, we guide this crucial step to ensure satisfaction for everyone involved.
